Swamp Salve

Swamp Salve

Apply Topically to sore muscles and joints.

Ingredients

 

Swamp Salve

Cinnamon:

 Can boost collagen production and aids in the regeneration of cells. It also delivers a heavy dose of antioxidants to the skin so that the skin is protected  from free radical damage 

Ginger:

Ginger applied topically can be effective in managing chronic respiratory and metabolic problems as well as anxiety and depressive disorders

Wild lettuce: 

It has a calming and relaxing and pain relieving effects 

Nutmeg:

It is a natural pain reliever for conditions like arthritis and muscle pain

Thai Pepper:

Capsaicin's anti-inflammatory qualities are believed to be responsible for its heart health benefits. 

Horseradish:

It helps relieve inflammation and pain. It is often applied topically for areas of the body with pain caused by injury, arthritis or inflammation because of   the anti-inflammatory properties found within the many beneficial compounds it contains. 

Castor Oil:

Contains triglycerides which help maintain moisture in the skin, making it a useful treatment for dry skin. Hydration: castor oil may have humectant    properties, which means that it can draw moisture from the air into the skin keeping the skin hydrated.

Extra virgin olive oil:

  • Provides deep hydration. ...
  • Reduces inflammation. ...
  • Gently exfoliates. ...
  • Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. ...
  • Reduces puffiness and swelling. ...
  • Helps soothe dry or irritated skin. ...
  • Protects from oxidative stress and premature aging. ...
  • May cause breakouts

Beeswax:

Beeswax can create a protective layer on the skin. It's also a humectant , which means that it attracts and binds water. Both of these qualities can    help the skin stay hydrated. By making beeswax into a lotion bar, it can work double-duty to keep your skin soft and hydrated

Directions: 

Apply to your muscles where you are sore, Apply as needed and as much as required.  

Try a small area in case of allergic reaction.
